She has a keen interest in cosmetic medicine and dermatology, using this speciality within her Professional Doctorate. She is an Independent Prescriber, and has completed specialised medical aesthetics training in non-surgical cosmetic treatments including Botox® and Dermal Fillers.

Injectable Muscle Relaxants for Line & Wrinkle Treatment
Small amounts of Botox/Azzalure are carefully and delicately injected into the specific facial muscles using a micro needle. This causes the muscles treated to relax but still allows surrounding non-targeted muscles to move thus maintaining all facial expressions and achieving a natural, fresher look. It does not “freeze” the muscles but temporarily prevents nerve impulses from excessive movement.

Dermal Fillers (Juvaderm Ultra)
Dermal Fillers are used to plump up the skin and give it a fuller, smoother appearance by delicately filling out permanent grooves and lines in the face. Popular areas treated include smile lines, nasolabial folds (grooves between the corner of your nose and mouth) and more deepset lines and wrinkles. Volume augmentation of the lips can also be performed. Treatment results can last up to a year and a local anaesthetic is used to numb the area prior to treatment.
